In this interview, Miranda Jordan discusses Red Ribbon Week at Fort Dorchester High School.
Mrs. Jordan is the 9th grade counselor at Fort and is the director of Red Ribbon Week. In this video, she discusses what Red Ribbon Week is, what it means to her and what is planned for the week at the school.
She talks about how she was a drug counselor for a while and has seen a lot of people that abuse drugs and what happens to them. She warns students to not use drugs as they will always have a negative effect on your body and ability to do things in life.
She also lets students know that she was planning on giving a speech to students at Fort about Red Ribbon Week what drugs can do to the body.
Mrs. Jordan’s one piece of advice to students at Fort is to not do drugs and keep yourself on track to achieve your goal in life.
